As you can most likely tell from the other pages of our site, Mobile Services is very much a specialist in photovoltaic solar panels, air-source heat pumps and ground-source heat pumps. Because our contractors have NICEIC accreditation, we meet all Part P compliancy criteria in the current version of the UK Building Regulations, and our work matches BS 7671 standards in the 18th edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.

Domestic or commercial, Mobile Services can install electric vehicle (EV) charging points for homes, businesses, local authorities and more. With plans in place to ban the sale of new gasoline models by 1930, 86% of consumers predict that their next car purchase will be an electric one. There is no better time to start thinking about an installation than now.
All new homes across the UK with associated parking must have an EV charging point from 2022, as must renovated residential properties with at least 10 parking spaces. Non-residential builds with more than 10 parking spaces must have one charging point for 20% of the total number of spaces available.

Photovoltaic solar panels turn light into electricity by using a semiconductor that converts photons into electrons. An inverter then converts a direct current into an alternating current. Thermal systems work slightly differently and absorb sunlight as energy to heat properties and provide them with a hot water supply. A solar thermal system requires the combined skills of an electrician and a plumber during installation.
Fitted onto rooftops in Southampton, Winchester and all local Hampshire areas to allow maximum exposure to sunlight, solar thermal panels contain water which heats up and stores in a cylinder. You can use this stored water to run a central heating system and it should be noted that traditional boilers and immersion heaters are both compatible with thermal panels.
Homes require between 1 to 2 square metres of solar panels on their rooftops for each person living inside them.
